Miyuru S. consulting services is the brainchild of Miyuru Sandaruwan. You can assign the meaning of Miyuru S. for Miyuru Sandaruwan as well as Miyuru’s.

Miyuru is a young man from Sri Lanka who has been interested in aviation ever since he can remember. His favourite hobbies when he was a child were to collect airline schedules and to spot aircraft. And from those schedules began his interest in airline management.

He started making flight schedules for his own imaginary airlines. And then he began making rotation plans for those aircraft. This is where he realised that to make the operation successful, the aircraft’s utilization had to be maximized. And then he realised that there was a fascinating art and many challenges behind managing an airline. And he wanted to learn about them, because he wanted to make his imaginary airlines as realistic as possible. And those keen researches, which he continues to this date, has taught him a lot about airline management, that none can match.

Miyuru’s aviation knowledge has been polished with the helping hands and unmatchable know-how and advices from the likes of Mr. Maurice Flanagan (EVC – Emirates Airline) and Mr. Geoffrey Thomas (a highly respected aviation journalist) among others.

Today, he has authored a number of eBooks on airline strategies and holds a certificate from IATA on Airline Revenue Management. He runs his own highly reputed blog on aviation while also writing a blog for Flightglobal.
